Ms. Rivas possesses over thirteen years experience as a certified clinical social worker that is bicultural and bilingual. She's worked with various populations, including LGBTQ+ and those with problems with substance abuse. Mrs. Rivas has been serving Erie patients since 2019. She is currently offering the telehealth services for Behavioral Health. Mrs. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team that works with postpartum and prenatal women. She specializes in trauma-informed treatment and EMDR therapy for adults. She provides Group and Individual Therapy, Medication-Assisted Treatment referral to specialty care, as well as a Women's Support group. Amanda works with Best Friends Animal Society to assist homeless animals in finding homes. She wholeheartedly believes that Best Friends' slogan, "Save Them All" and will do everything she can to make Los Angeles become a no kill city. Amanda is an individual who makes the best of her every moment. She strives to reach her objectives, which she is able to achieve by pushing the boundaries of her abilities.
